First established by Rod Betts in July 2008 as Commercial Windows & Doors, we are an independent, Tasmanian owned and operated company.
Over the following 10 years, Rod and our team successfully completed many significant award-winning projects throughout southern Tasmania
In 2018, we proudly included Leigh Mitchell as an ownership partner & company director, after he diligently ascended the ranks from an apprenticeship that he commenced in 2009.
In 2019 Phil Riley, formerly of Fairbrother Construction, joined CWD as an ownership partner and company director, providing a diverse skill-set and knowledge base to the company.
Over this time, CWD has grown to become an Employer of Choice in the Hobart construction sector with over 15 full-time employees and a wider team of associated specialist sub-contractors.
Our primary focus is ensuring high-quality workmanship in all of our activities, whilst also providing competitive prices and being collaborative in all of our relationships.
We have an excellent track record of delivering a wide range of projects that have exceeded expectations, for which we have been repeatedly acknowledged with construction industry awards, in the areas of quality, safety and energy performance.
